SITE PLAN CONTROL

 IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUILDING A NEW BUILDING, PUTTING UP AN ADDITION OR RETROFITTING YOU MAY NEED SITE PLAN CONTROL APPROVAL.

WHAT IS SITE PLAN CONTROL?

It is the process used to control the various features on the site of an actual development including building location, landscaping, drainage, parking and access by pedestrians and vehicles.

Under the Site Plan Control Approval Process, the City staff must approve most types of development before a building permit can be issued.  On a positive note, it should be noted that the majority of site plans are approved.

WHO REQUIRES SITE PLAN CONTROL APPROVAL?

·        Commercial and Industrial developments

·        Residential projects such as townhouse complexes and apartment

·        Certain changes in land use

·        Certain types of development in a Heritage Conservation District

WHO DOES NOT REQUIRE SITE PLAN ONTROL APPROVAL?

·        Single detached, semi-detached duplex, triplex dwellings

·        Additions to street townhouses

·        Accessory buildings or addition under 200m2

·        Special needs housing/group homes

·        Bed and Breakfast Establishments

·        Pumping Stations

·        Communications towers of certain heights above ground level

·        Temporary building and alterations

PRI-TEC CELEBRATES THE GRAND OPENING OF TONY GRAHAM LEXUS

On October 1, 2010 the Pri-Tec team were honoured to celebrate the Grand Opening of Tony Graham Lexus on Hunt Club.  Pri-Tec are proud to have been the Construction Managers in the planning and building of the magnificent Lexus building. 

For the past several years, Pri-Tec has served as Construction Managers for many of Tony Graham's construction needs resulting in a solid and trusting business relationship.  Pri-Tec have witnessed how Tony and Elizabeth Graham serve as examples and mentors when it comes to setting an example of community generosity that raises awareness among business leaders to give back to the communities.  Tony Graham's goal was not to get power, but to get his vision across.  His vision began many years ago with one handshake.  Today, Tony can be proud that this one handshake led to success thereby contributing to the improvement of many lives within the community.

The future of all the Tony Graham enterprises is bright, as his children, Patrick and Maureen both share an insatiable desire to cultivate the legacy of giving back to their community in their daily business decisions. Tony Graham's devotion to community service continues to inspire not only his children, but all business organizations.
